Nor-easters

Daylight Savings time is here! more light at the end of the day now. Since the last time I wrote much snow has come and melted. We had a big Nor-easter on the weekend of the 25th...over two feet when all was said and done. It snowed, sleeted, rained and then snowed and sleeted again. There is still snow on the ground, but its that mushy kind of spring snow. There was another Nor-Easter this weekend which has caused a lot of flooding here and there, but so far no water has crosssed our road, and for the next few days we are supposed to have a few dry days.

I think I heard wood frogs in Weare this weekend.

YesterdayI saw a coyote cross the road above our property and turkeys along the roadside. Here is an old photo from the snowstorm in Feb.
