Warm Autumn Days

I see that I haven't posted for a month! we had some cool, but not unseasonably so, days, but also some unseasonably warm days. I prefer the cool, crisp days, but the warmer days may become the rule due to climate change. The leaves are all turning colors faster this year and we are told it's due to the warmer temps, plus stress on the trees from past winter storms.
There seem to be plenty of acorns dropping from our trees and both ponds are full of life: fish, frogs, beetles. We have not had much rain lately and parts of the new beaver pond have drained.
