Freezing our noses off

After a substantial thaw, temps have plunged again, sending us indoors to watch the outdoors from within the comfort of our homes. Been laid out with a nasty winter cold, but today I have improved a little and I agreed to go out and gather the kindling from the White Pine that the builders knocked down when they created our driveway. Here is the bucket of sticks, soon to turn to ash in the woodstove.
